We’ve just had a lot of fresh white snow. And I mean a lot. So much that I had to go out and tie my cedar around its middle with twine. On our walk in the woods, many of the trees weren’t so lucky.
In spots, it was like making your way through a tunnel…

Pretty, but I pray we don’t get that anytime soon. We’ve already lost thousands of trees. Can’t take anymore.

Oh, I know you have James from blasted Sandy. It was sheer devastation for so many, wasn’t it? We had our own winter version of that years ago during the famous ice storm when trees gave way one after the other, but rather in slow motion than swiftly. They can withstand a lot, but not everything.

Yes, magical indeed Sue, but as James implies, as long as the trees don’t snap and they’re not prize specimens in my garden!
